It wasn’t just the dark purple buds glistening in the sun or the vibrant orange hairs that stood out—it was the aroma. “It smelled like someone mixed peanut butter with a jar of apricot jam,” Keith recalls with a smile.
Keith spent weeks testing and tasting potential phenotypes, but he kept coming back to that one special plant. The sweet, apricot-forward aroma, mixed with the pungent gassy undertones, wasn’t something he could shake. It wasn’t until one afternoon, when he rolled up a sample and took the first hit, that he knew it was a keeper.
