Wedding Cake THCa(Triangle Kush × Animal Mints) is a balanced hybrid grown in a light-assist greenhouse using organic inputs. This batch produces dense, medium-to-large buds with light green tones, subtle purple flecks, and a thick coating of frosty trichomes that highlight its classic bag appeal.
Aromas open with sweet vanilla and creamy dough, backed by light earth and a touch of gas. The flavor follows with rich cake-like sweetness up front, layered with soft spice, earth, and a smooth, creamy finish that lingers.
Wedding Cake delivers a steady, well-rounded experience with a calm body presence and an easygoing headspace. Versatile and approachable, it’s well suited for both daytime and evening use depending on pace and setting.
Take a Closer Look at Wedding Cake · Greenhouse THCa Flower
Wedding Cake—also known as Triangle Mints #23—combines Triangle Kush and Animal Mints, bringing together OG Kush–derived structure with the sweeter, dessert-driven traits of modern Cookies-era breeding. The strain rose to prominence in the late 2010s for its dense bud structure, heavy trichome production, and unmistakable vanilla-forward profile. This “original” cut leans into that classic expression, balancing creamy sweetness with a subtle earthy gas backbone. Grown in a light-assist greenhouse, it maintains strong structure and resin development while allowing the terpene profile to express with a slightly more natural, open character than fully indoor versions.
"Beautiful nug structure, sparkling trichomes, dense and sticky, and a smooth smoke. I recommend a good grinder for this one to really break up the buds. I appreciate the Boveda pack in the bag to protect all those tasty terpenes. I also recommend getting a cold pack add-on for extra protection against any heat damage. Anyways, smoked this on the back porch while watering the garden, and watching the bees enjoy the lavender. 10/10 would smoke again, I wish I could have ordered a full oz."

Balanced hybrid, such a deal
"I could smoke this all day long. And it blends really well with other strains. I will definitely be buying more of this. Nice buds, slightly dense and sticky. The flavor is mild. Sort of a doughy vanilla, and some earthiness. I blend this with their purple churro at night for a super long lasting buzz, chill experience and restful sleep."

"I’ll preface this by acknowledging that strains affect people differently and my experience is just my experience. Take it for what it is. I did not enjoy anything about this cannabis. From the moment I opened the bag I was hit by an overwhelming spicy/herbal smell that didn’t sit right. Almost clove like. The buds were rock hard, which isn’t necessarily a problem, but in my experience that means the grow revolved around production not quality. After putting some through a grinder the spicy smell dropped back a little and there was a touch of sweetness that came forward. Rolled it up and while it burned to white ash it had very little taste and there was something off putting about it. Its odor in a room matched that spicyness and was not pleasant to me. Now to the effects, which are the most important. At first a feeling of calm settled in but shortly after it felt almost mind-trapping. Like I was super calm but couldn’t think properly. There was no euphoria to accompany this so it just felt numbing. It had a degree of functionality to it but almost like I was in a trance. It also led to some irritability that I attribute to it having this calming effect that was accompanied by an uncomfortableness. This uncomfortableness was always there lingering while the calm head space came and went. I tossed what I had left. I don’t blame Lucky Elk. I’ve been dealing with his plant long enough to know that some strains are just not compatible with some people. This was my experience with this Wedding Cake."

Light-Deprivation: Where Sunlight Meets Strategy
Light-deprivation (aka. 'deps') cultivation harnesses the natural power of the sun while allowing growers to manipulate the flowering cycle by controlling light exposure. By covering plants with blackout tarps or using automated shading systems, cultivators can induce early blooms—often yielding two or more harvests per season. This method combines the terpene-rich benefits of outdoor sun-grown cannabis with the tighter control and consistency of indoor techniques.
